How can I make a charitable transfer of securities?

Requests to transfer securities from an MEXEM account to a qualified charity will be accepted under the following conditions:
The security is a U.S. stock, warrant or bond;
The security is eligible for transfer via DTC;
The recipient is a recognized charity capable of accepting DTC transfers;
The request is submitted on the applicable Charitable Gift Transfer - Letter of Authorization which is subject to signature and/or verbal verification.

Note: **If transferring only a portion of shares for any given security, your default tax lot identification method will be used for purposes of deciding the cost basis of the securities transferred. This election cannot be changed once the securities have transferred.
