We suggest to activate the 2 key factor authentication in order to avoid the issue of receiving the code.
Provided the instructions how to activate the 2 key authentication via email:
Enable 2-factor authentication
1 - Download the IBKR app
2 - Launch the app
3 - Click on ''I have an account''
4 - Click on ''2 level access registration
5 - Select ''Account Credentials''
6 - Enter your real account username and password
7 - Enter the SMS code you will receive on your mobile phone (You can use up to 3 minutes depending on the telephone operator)
8 - Create a PIN, so you can log in with that if you have problems with it facial/biometric recognition
After creating the PIN, 2-factor authentication will be active.
This means that every time you log in from a platform, you will receive a notification from the IBKR app. To unlock the account, just click on the notification and verify.
