What are the requirements to be considered as a Professional Investor?

To be considered as a professional investor (at MEXEM and other brokers regulated by the CNMV), generally you must meet 2 out of the following 3 criteria:

Trading Volume: Having executed a significant number of large-volume transactions in the relevant markets.
For example, having to trade value of €200,000 or more in the relevant market with an average frequency of 10 per quarter in the previous 4 quarters.

Portfolio Size: Owning a portfolio of financial instruments (including cash deposits) exceeding 500,000 EUR.

Professional Experience: Working or having worked in the financial sector for at least one year in a professional position requiring knowledge of the intended operations or services.
