Funds & Banking

What could prevent funds from being withdrawn?

1. Margin Requirements: Ensure that the cash in your account isn't tied up in investments or being used to cover margin requirements. Check your open positions and the margins required to maintain them.

2. Currency Balances: If you have balances in non-base currencies, these might limit withdrawal amounts in certain currencies. Convert these balances back to your base currency or another preferred currency. Instructions for currency conversion are available in the MEXEM help section.

3. Settlement Periods: Remember, withdrawals must wait for trades to settle, typically two business days for stocks and currencies.

4. Recent Deposits: Be aware of any restrictions on withdrawals following recent deposits.

5. Internal Transfers: If you have cash balances in specialized accounts like the -F account UK Regulated, these funds need to be internally transferred to your main account before they can be accessed. This can be done through the Client Portal under Transfer & Pay, then Transfer Funds, selecting the account ending in 'F' for an internal transfer.
